It's true - I like to partner with writers. I often hire writers once a project gets started. I've recently established a collaboration with a writer who is a project manager and needed design leadership that staff could not provide. I agree that it's important to find the right designer/writer for the job (and for the client). Whoever takes the lead role - which always happens, both need to be good communicators and have a process that works for them.
