Tecwhitepapers.com was launched nearly a year ago, as an offshoot of the highly trafficked Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC) Incorporated, a site which garners upwards of 1.7 million unique visitors per month.
According to tecwhitepapers.com’s business development manager, Marc Attalla, “TEC’s readership comprises well over 450,000 global subscribers who turn to TEC for up-to-date research in the form of daily newsletter articles and archives covering key issues in enterprise software products, services and IT business issues.”
The white papers and case studies featured on TECwhitepapers.com are currently marketed and promoted via the “TEC Daily Newsletters” and the weekly “Executive White Papers Newsletter” (which has a subscription base of 400,000 readers), as well as on their main site and through accompanying keyword search engine campaigns.
White paper and case study topics run the gamut of all areas of enterprise software offerings including ERP, accounting and financial, business intelligence, supply chain management, CRM, manufacturing, enterprise performance management, HR, consulting services, compliance management, outsourcing and other cross key verticals.
Attalla says the site’s audience is made up of over 40% global IT managers and C-level decision makers. The decision makers and influencers work in key industries such as manufacturing, computers, software services and consulting.
“The quantity and quality of our audience and the quality and variety of our white paper and case study content separates TEC from its competitors. We have a loyal readership of decision makers who read fresh content on enterprise software/IT management issues every weekday, and open our white paper and case study newsletter every Saturday,” Attalla said.
On the lead system, white paper and case study authors can opt to receive information on end users who choose to download their paper, based on a range of promotional packages, according to Attalla.
White papers can be submitted fr-ee of charge. The site also offers three different package prices for white paper sponsorship. All papers submitted are vetted by a highly qualified editorial team and then abstracts and keywords are created and the document is classified and published. The site and the submission process are exceedingly user friendly and it offers flexible, cost effective promotional packages.
For $2000, vendors can submit two papers, which are rotated in the their weekly “Executive White Papers Newsletter” and on Tecwhitepapers.com. The promotion lasts for one month and includes 40 leads. If the leads are not achieved in that one month, then the activity and rotations continue until the lead number is achieved.
“The $2000 program is more of a pilot. This program is geared toward vendors that would like to test out TEC’s services and are discovering white papers and case studies as a means to market their products/services,” said Attalla.
A $4000 placement provides the rotation of up to three white papers including one insertion for the papers in the weekly “Executive White Papers Newsletter” and the daily newsletter that goes out to 450,000 members. The promotion lasts for one month and includes 100 leads.
The $5000 program is best suited, according to Attalla, for marketers who only want to run one paper for a longer period of time. At this level, the paper is run for three months and vendors have an unlimited lead. In addition, they get three promotions in the “Executive White Papers Newsletter” and appearances in the daily newsletter.
Attalla said the first two programs are geared to mid-sized or smaller businesses, and the $5000 program is geared toward Fortune 500 companies.
Both the $4000 level and $5000 level sponsorships also receive promotion in the “TEC Daily Newsletter.” All leads are qualified with a standard registration form.
Attalla says TEC is currently in significant discussions with key media partners so that TEC white paper content can be distributed via its media partner sites.
